Last semester, we struggled with solidifying an idea for our short movie, but eventually we settled on the story of a woman's AI assistant gradually replacing her deceased mother. Once the story was settled we finally began working on all the other aspects required to make the film.
Over the winter break, we shot a teaser trailer for our Fongogo campaign page which will be up soon. Aside from that, we worked on some parts of the script, giving the characters more of a personality in order to make them more relatable as well as adding scenes that create more tension between the main two characters. This month we will begin working on the storyboard and production design and go through the daunting task of finding actors. The latter of which we have been struggling with the most, but we all have high hopes and determined spirits , so we're sure we'll manage to do so.
