Setting out to shoot a short film has been a great learning experience, with many ups and downs. We started off very unsure of ourselves selves but as our idea began to take form we threw ourselves into the project and gave it our all. As the shooting day came closer and closer tensions were high and we were all jittery with nervousness and excitement.
It's pretty disappointing that we didn't get to shoot it after all because of the pandemic. We had everything ready and scheduled and were so prepared, I want to take this moment to talk about how much it truly and utterly sucked when we found out we weren't going to be able to shoot the movie anytime soon.
However, we ventured onwards and began with the animatics. Luckily, we were able to find an illustrator and with his help, able to give our movie life in the form of animatics. For our fourth and final milestone, we have completed our illustrations for the animatics and are in the process of post-production. We hope to have the initial edits done by the 15th of May which gives us ample time for any revisions.
We hope that the project is able to reflect all the work that we've put into it and that in the future, once all this pandemic business is over, we finally get to shoot it and show the world.
