Since the shooting for our short film has been delayed due to pandemic, we've decided to work on the animatics for the storyboard. For this, an illustrator has joined our team and we've begun the process of creating the animatics. Our actor and actresses meanwhile are working on recording their dialogues so that we can use them in the animatics. Since we can't meet each other due to these trying times, we have weekly Zoom meetings to keep up and make sure the work for our short film is moving forward.
Not being able to shoot is certainly a setback, but we're determined and hopeful, and once this whole situation blows over we will definitely shoot the movie. The animatics will be a great step as it it'll help us understand the pacing of the movie, and decided certain cuts and shots accordingly.
